Again, this goes to the issue of preseason rankings.  While I am one who has great respect for BSU's program and what they've accomplished over such a short period of time, it's frustrating to see them ranked in the top 5 in just about every preseason poll out there.  Now, this doesn't mean I feal the same about other teams deserving their preseason ranking either....it simply goes to the issue of not knowing how good these teams are going to fair.  As pointed out the idea behind this blog is CFB's legitimacy, now, and in the future.  IMO polls should not be released until the 4th or 5th wk at least, so there is some idea as to whether a team deserves the ranking they are being 'gifted' at this point.  Your thoughts.
